THE WASTE OF TODAY
IS THE RESOURCE OF TOMORROW
paper

The paper, as everyone knows, is obtained mainly from trees.
The wood pulp or cellulose (softwood, such as spruce or poplar) is converted into pulps, and after numerous steps of separation, washing, bleaching, pressing and drying, gets its common appearance.

Many people do not know that, in Italy, 90% of the paper, bags and boxes is realized with recycled material. Paper and cardboard can in fact live almost indefinitely, as long as citizens are committed to recycle properly, at home, at work or at school, and initiate the process of recycling.

ECO-RICICLI VERITAS is responsible for collecting the paper, which will subsequently sent to Comieco (National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Cellulose-based Packaging).

Recycling also to protect the forests

Even for the paper, it is a real virtuous cycle, where citizens, companies and consortiums are each playing their role.

Every year, an Italian "consumes" on average of 75 kilograms of materials derived from cellulose, 55 of which go into recycling. Obviously, the citizen makes the first crucial step to start the recycling of packaging paper and cardboard, newspapers and magazines, protecting also trees and woods. Keep in mind that every year forests in Europe grow more than 660,000 hectares, or twice Val d'Aosta region. All this thanks to paper recycling.
